How to choose automatic ignition?

Automatic ignition provides automatic ignition and flame sensing in devices with direct ignition of the main burner (DBI) even in devices with mediated ignition by means of an ignition torch (IP).

Here is a brief guide and description on how to determine the right type of HONEYWELL and SIT automation .

Description of the HONEYWELL automation label

The manufacturer of Honeywell automatics states the exact type of automatics on the nameplate. Here is an example of how to correctly determine the type of automation.

  1. Automation series designation:? S4560, S4561, S4565
  2. CD - type of automation
  3. 2037 - a unique designation of automation
  4. Diagram
  5. Safety time Ts (if the flame is not removed during the safety time, the automation is blocked)
  6. In case of automatic exchange, it is necessary to keep the whole automation code !!! S4565CD2037 must be replaced with S4565CD2037. If it is exchanged for another type S4565CD1005, the correct functionality of the automation is not guaranteed.

Description of the SIT automation label

The manufacturer of Sit automatics indicates the exact type of automatics on the production label. Here is an example of how to correctly determine the type of automation.

  1. Date of manufacture
  2. Diagram
  3. Tw - waiting time, Ts - safety time
  4. Automatic series designation: 537, 577, 579
  5. In case of automatic exchange, it is necessary to keep the whole automation code !!! 0537.003 must be exchanged for 0537.003. If it is exchanged for another type 0537.301, the correct functionality of the automation is not guaranteed.
