The Grundfos circulation pump of the Comfort series is particularly suitable for use in family houses or apartment units . The pump ensures an immediate supply of hot water without the need to "drain" the amount of cold water from the pipes. It thus contributes to great comfort for the user.

Description of the AUTOADAPT function

The Autoadapt function works on the principle of continuous detection of time periods in which hot water is taken in a given household or house. According to this information, the electronics only start the pump when there is a probability of hot water being drawn off. It saves this data in its calendar, which it continuously updates to adjust the pump start times. Saved records from the last two weeks are used. The calendar also distinguishes working days and weekends . With this method of regulation, the savings in electricity are very high, especially compared to older types of circulation pumps.

Once a week, the Autoadapt function disinfects the system (killing Legionella bacteria) by switching it on at a time when the temperature source significantly raises the water temperature.
