Intelligent proportional regeneration:

After starting, the station determines how much water it will be able to soften based on the entered water hardness. At a user-defined time (eg at night), the station checks whether there is sufficient ion exchanger capacity for the next day. If this is not the case, the station will start regeneration only to such an extent that the ion exchanger is restored to exactly 100% capacity. Using an integrated water consumption meter, the control unit calculates the consumption characteristics, the remaining capacity of the ion exchanger and also determines the amount of brine required for partial regeneration. (proportional regeneration) Thanks to this intelligent regeneration method, the consumption of regeneration salt and water is reduced to a minimum. In the event of a power failure, the set dates and time are retained for a limited time.

Usage:

Calcium carbonate dissolved in water is a valuable mineral, but it can cause serious problems in the home if heated. The result is a solid limestone layer (limescale), which forms mainly in hot places and reduces the thermal efficiency of water heaters and the life of expensive household appliances connected to the water supply. The KaltecSoft water treatment plant is designed to provide a cost-effective solution to protect water distribution. KaltecSoft combines proven ion exchange technology with a unique control valve design. To ensure minimum water and salt consumption, regeneration is regulated based on the amount of treated water.
