Thermal fuses

The main purpose of the thermal fuse is to prevent the water in the boiler from overheating beyond a safe limit. If the water temperature exceeds the set value (usually around 90-95 °C), the thermal fuse is activated and interrupts the supply of electricity to the heating element. This prevents further heating of the water and possible damage to the boiler or the creation of a dangerous situation.

Maintenance and inspection

It is important to regularly check the functionality of the thermal fuse and replace it if necessary. A malfunctioning fuse can lead to boiler overheating and potentially dangerous situations. When replacing, it is necessary to use a fuse with the same parameters and specification to ensure proper protection of the heater.
The thermal fuse is an essential part of the boiler's safety system and works with other components such as the thermostat and safety valve to minimize the risk of overheating and damage to the equipment.
