Since leaks are often not recognizable to the naked eye (eg in the case of hairline cracks), the use of measuring techniques is offered to check gas pipelines. With the testo 317-2 gas leak detector, gas connections can be checked safely and efficiently. A practical gas detector for beginners in the field detects the presence of two types of gas: methane and propane. The gas concentration is shown on the display by means of a bar graph. In addition, the gas leak detector reports an increasing gas concentration by means of an acoustic alarm. The measuring instrument also acoustically confirms to you that it is ready for measurement.
